HakkaWA Members had a spring wildflowers picnic and BBQ to enjoy the spring weather and wildflowers at our hosts Honorary Advisor Mr and Mrs Edward Kuh’s property on Sunday 21 October 2012. The property is a 5-acres site with original rural settings located in Roleystone.

The Mid-Autumn Festival potluck HakkaWA members gathering was held at Honorary Advisor Mr Ben VB Soon’s residence on Sunday 30 September 2012.

A HakkaWA Members Dinner Gathering to celebrate Fathers Day was held on 1 September 2012 at the South Ocean Chinese Restaurant in Kardinya.

The Penang/ Ipoh / Cameron Highlands durian and food trail tour took place from 1 July to 8 July 2012. The famous Penang durians were in season at that time, and the group took every opportunity to taste and savour the different varieties. In Penang alone, 8 varieties of the top durians in the world were tasted.

The Committee of Management organised another HakkaWA Members Dinner Gathering for the 2012 Duanwu (also called Dragon Boat or Dumpling) Festival on Saturday 23 June 2011 (Duanwu Festival Day).
