The Hakka Association of Western Australia Inc. celebrated its 4th anniversary at Serai Dining in North Lake Road, Bibra Lake on 1st December. The occasion was attended by the Deputy Consul-General of PRC in Perth, as well as community leaders and dignitaries.

171 members and guests gathered on 1 December 2013 at Serai Dining in Bibra Lake, WA, to celebrate the Association’s 4th Anniversary of coming into being.

President of HakkaWA Cr. Keith Yong attended the 2013 Global Hakka Conference 全球客家恳亲大会 held in Taipei from 19-22 November 2013.

15 delegates represented the Association to attend the 26th World Hakka Conference in Jakarta Indonesia from 9 – 11 September 2013.

Mr James Chong and Anita, Honorary Advisors of HakkaWA, invited other Honorary Advisors, Committee members and some members to attend at their residence at Mt Claremont for a Hakka Lui Cha (擂茶) making demonstration by our newest member CHONG Fah 张华 on Saturday 27 July 2013.
